About Me

This is what I do.

As a Business Intelligence Specialist / DBA:

I Design, build, and maintain databases using MS SQL Server, then develop full-stack websites for easy access to and modification of that data via C# web apps.

I am an SQL DBA with more than 10 years of experience in developing, monitoring, and maintaining SQL Server Databases. I have a Strong background in maintaining and updating SQL-connected websites while creating the optimal user experience. My Proven track record with writing training documentation for best database creation, maintenance, and monitoring practices has been well documented in the awards that I have received. I am competent in creating accessible, responsive, and functional user interfaces in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C# web applications.

As a Web Developer:

I have developed and deployed one of the best business locations webpages in the United States via Google Maps API and Javascript. I am currently creating new content for the Google Maps API development and training website.

I have designed and deployed several full-stack websites for various companies and small businesses. I also build and host pro-bono websites for a few of the local museums. You can view some of those websites through links on my personal website in the portfolio section. Aubrey Love at WebDev Demos

As an Author:

I have been writing for several decades on subjects ranging from C# to T-SQL. And everything in between that was tech related. My first published book “Linux the Other Windows” (no longer in print) was a milestone for my writing career. It launched me into a whole new level of teaching, something I truly enjoy.

The last few decades have been spent writing guest blog articles, instructional data sheets, white papers and other tech documents for various websites and companies.

Now, I’m breaking into print once again with a new book “SQL Practice and Interview Questions” which will soon launch on Amazon. I believe the title speaks for itself. It will consist of two sections.

Section 1 poses questions that would help the junior DBA learn by practice and provide some common interview questions to prepare them for their first interview.
Section 2 will provide the answers to the questions presented in section 1 along with some explanation of the how and why of the SQL queries that made up the questions. I’m sure that some of the more seasoned DBA’s will gain some benefit from the book as well.
